READ-A-THON will be one of the PTA’s biggest fundraisers of the year; money raised is for our general budget, which funds our teacher grants, events and programs. One of the best advantages of the READ-A-THON is that it allows all money collected to stay at Clark! It also provides a better tax deduction incentive for donors.

READ-A-THON packets will be sent home on 9/28. Packets contain everything your

student needs to participate, including:
1. Important DATES for turning in reading minutes and fundraising deadlines
2. FUNDRAISING & Prize information
3. PLEDGE FORM
4. READING incentives & minutes log

IMPORTANT DATES
Week 1 – 10/2-10/6, turn in minutes on 10/6
**Students who read & turn in 100 minutes by 10/6 will receive a free book valued up to $13 at the book fair!
Week 2 – 10/9–10/13, turn in minutes on 10/11 to be eligible for the prize drawing!
Week 3 - 10/16-10/20, turn in minutes 10/17 and 10/20 to be eligible for the prize drawing!
