Hello from the Art Department at Clark! If you haven't heard from us, we are a 100% parent volunteer led and 100% PTA funded program. If you have seen paintings or clay projects or paper sculptures come home with your child this year, that was the Clark Art Department working hard! We NEED YOU to help keep a parent art docent in every classroom next year- if you are interested in helping out, please email us at art@clarkpta.org. There is no commitment involved at this point, just let us know if you are interested (ask a friend, too!), no experience or artistic ability required!
We are also seeking members of our Clark community (can be parents, grandparents, etc) who are interested in learning how to run the kiln (all training provided) and be a part of the awesome clay and kiln team at Clark (as you can imagine, running clay projects for over 700 students through the year takes a lot of hands!) Pleas email us at art@clarkpta.org if you are willing to help next year. If we do not find multiple adults to add to our team, we will not be able to offer clay at all grade levels for school year 2019-20.
